Types of MBA Degrees

All require some form of experience in the industry and a previous undergraduate degree to be accepted.
Weekend MBA Program Structure
Each MBA program is slightly different, but they usually follow a set syllabus plan with Saturdays being the day of attendance most of the time. Some colleges offer 2 sittings ranging from 2 to 4 hours in length for the duration of the 11 to 26 week semester. Whilst the majority of the work will take place during class time, tasks are also assigned for completion outside the classroom setting, including computer work and research. Working steadily, it usually takes 2 to 3 years to complete the course.

Like any college degree, a weekend MBA is going to be quite expensive, but it is an investment. There are subsidies and financial aid that can be applied for through most of the university programs with scholarships also being offered. Most weekend MBA applicants are hard working professionals who are excited to expand their knowledge. Candidates are chosen according to academic and GMAT scores, along with experience, the ability to handle graduate coursework, desire to succeed, background, and career goals among other things.
